Hotel Fire times TWO

Human nature gives us a false sense of protection and let's us think we are prepared for anything until the unexpected happens. No one can predict when a catastrophe will happen, but we can be prepared when it does.

A local hotel in the area was hit with not one, but two electrical fires. These fires happened within days of each other. The first fire was completely mitigated and the rooms were turned back over to the hotel.  Two days after the first fire was completely cleaned up there was a second fire on the floor below in a similar electrical fire.

With multiple floors without electric and heat, the temperatures plummeted down to single digits for several days.  So you guessed it, pipes began to freeze and subsequently began to burst sending water down affecting 5 additional floors.
